(no subject)

On Friday I went to the gym after volunteering. I got to the gym at peak time, but it's mostly the cardio bunnies who work out then. There was just enough space for me in the free weights area.


I warmed up, then:

Walking lunge: 2 * 12kg db * 6 lengths of the gym.
Squats: 2 * 12kg db * 12,10,8
Overhead single triceps extensions: 2kg * 12, 10, 8
Front deltoid raises: 2kg (or was it 4kg?) dumbbells (each hand) 12, 10, 8

40 minutes cardio


Saturday I was planning on going to the gym, but didn't get round to it. I did a bit of walking, but only short distances. Less than 3 miles in total.

Today I jogged around Regent's Park, just under 2 miles. Woot! I'm glad I got my distance up again. There was walking involved, probably 2.5-3 miles or so.

Thinking about exercise:

I'm thinking of enrolling on an Olympics/power weightlifting class at the Bethnal Green Weightlifting Club. It's the kind of weightlifting club I've been thinking of going to for a while. I'd be a bit nervous going, mostly because of the whole trans thing.
