doubtfulace took me for a jog today. (Background: I've done the Ct5K program a couple of times without getting to the final bit of being able to run for 20 minutes. Apart from a handful of sessions, I've always jogged on the treadmill because I get multiple suicidal thoughts when jogging in public.) I did two jogs, one for 3/4 of a mile and one for a whole mile. I'm really pleased! It's a big breakthrough for me. We're going to do it again.

Technical thing: seeing as DW supports LJ html, if I want to refer to a LJ user with that little person symbol, how do I do it without it becoming a DW thing?

I've decided what to do with this journal for now: it will be a fitness journal. Yay fitness! I shall use cuts generously, as I'm aware that many people who have added me here aren't interested in that stuff.

I have a technical problem. I've tried to upload a userpic without avail. I've done it from a file, from a URL, with a big picture, with a less than 100 x 100 pixel picture, from my Ubuntu-running machine, from my Windows machine. Nada. It's frustrating. I miss having a live-in geek, or one who stays more than one night :/
